18+ Night Market

The 18+ Night Market at Another Furry Con is our special after-dark gathering where open-mindedness, exploration, and community shine. This adult-only experience brings together a diverse mix of artists, DJs, entertainers, and vendors, all ready to showcase a more adventurous side of the furry scene. We maintain a discreet environment with privacy walls, so you can confidently wear gear or outfits not permitted in other spaces, though neither fursuits nor kink attire are required to enter. An ID check at the entrance ensures everyone inside can freely move around without leaving the space, and we provide free coat-check services for any belongings you wish to stow. You'll also find food, drinks, and a bar for guests 21 and up, making this an ideal spot to grab a bite, socialize, and embrace a unique, late-night facet of the convention.

What The Night Market Is NOT: The Night Market is a chance to dance and have fun, but is not a play party. Being more revealing is fine, but AFC is an event and must follow all California and city laws and regulations, including real nipples and genitals being completely covered. Toy sheathes can be allowed as costume props but AFC has the final say on whether something is or is not allowed or too revealing. Beyond The Night Market (Walk-In Dress Code): Outside of the Night Market and specified 18+ areas, the convention is all ages. As such, we cannot allow erotic, kink, or revealing costumes or attire in all-ages convention spaces. When showing up to the Night Market, you must cover yourself in something appropriate (coat, hoodie, etc.) or be all-ages dressed. Once inside, there will be a changing (public and private) area, as well as a coat check. When leaving the night market, you must be dressed appropriately again and take your belongings with you. For your convenience, you can plan ahead and store your night market outfit in the coat check early in the day for easy access once you enter the night market changing area.

Rules & Regulations

Costume & Consent: For areas of the convention center that are outside of the night market, latex, leather, or other fetish gear that is not genital or kink or sex act focused on an otherwise adult acting person is acceptable. This includes things like pup hoods, dog collars (short leads only, no leashes), latex tops (that cover your nipples), latex body suits with fabric shorts pants, latex hoods, and little outfits. It does not allow for things like ball gags, inserted insertable tails, null bulge shorts or jocks, nipple clamps, or exposed diapers.

Inside the night market space, you can wear latex, leather, or other fetish gear that is genital, kink, or sex act-focused. Please remember that you must adhere to the convention center and local restrictions on nudity and indecency. This means no nudity, no exposed genitals, no exposed nipples, no lewd direction of attention to your genitals for the purpose of sexual gratification or excitement.

Photography: No photography will be allowed inside the Night Market. If you'd like to record your special moment, you may have your picture taken at our AFC photobooth, featuring a photographer with a printed photo. Note: Approved Staff Photographers may take pictures of the stage, DJs, and environments, but will not capture attendees.

Attendance: All attendees with a valid AFC badge and valid Government issued identification will be permitted into the Night Market. No additional cost is required.

Line Management: Lines will not be formed until 30 minutes prior to the opening of the Night Market. We will have over 20,000 sq. ft. of space so everyone should fit without needing to cap the line or wait for people to exit. Note: To help move the line quickly, Staff will ID attendees in line so once the Night Market opens, people can immediately walk inside.
