Charity We Support
Judith A Bassett Canid Education and Conservation Center
Another Furry Con (AFC) is proud to partner with Judith A Bassett Canid Education and Conservation Center (“JABCECC”), a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to the education, rescuing, and conservation of canids. Canids are a diverse family of carnivorous mammals, ranging from majestic wolves and elusive foxes to beloved domesticated dogs.
JABCECC was founded with the belief that education is the cornerstone of effective conservation. Their programs are meticulously designed to offer comprehensive insights into the biology, behavior, and ecological importance of canids. Through interactive workshops, informative seminars, and engaging exhibitions, they aim to foster a deeper connection between people and these remarkable animals. In addition to rescue and education, their hope is to build a community that values and advocates for canid protection.
Fundraising For A Purpose
A Message From AFC
Another Furry Con believes in the vision of Judith A Bassett Canid Education and Conservation Center and would like to raise as much money as possible for their cause. During AFC, attendees will be able to learn more about canids and JABCECC, donate to the charitable cause, help raise money for the charitable cause, and even meet some canids!
Currently, JABCECC is extending its enclosures to make room for new foxes they wish to rescue and care for. Donations will help cover expenses for the enclosure builds, transportation of the foxes, medical care, training, and food.
Our Goal
AFC has a goal of raising $20,000 for charity. All charitable donations will go to the Judith A Bassett Canid Education and Conservation Center.
