Getting To The Con
Greetings again, Adventufurs! We believe no one can be too prepared when traveling so to help your quest of successfully making it to AFC, we're providing information on getting to the convention as well as information about Ontario California!
About Ontario:
Ontario California is located East of Los Angeles. Expect weather to hit lows of 62 during the night and high of 80s during peak averaging 75. Ontario is considered to be a safe area to walk around and the area of the Ontario Convention Center is clean, pretty, and well lit at night.
Getting to AFC:
By Air:
We recommend you fly into Ontario International Airport (ONT) and take the shuttle from the ONT airport to your nearby hotel or the Ontario Convention Center.
Other (farther) airports include:
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
John Wayne Airport (SNA)
Burbank Airport (BUR)
By Car:
From Los Angeles:
Commuters can either take the 10 or the 60 freeway East.
From Orange County:
Take the 57 freeway north to 10 freeway East.
From San Diego:
Take the 15 freeway North to the 10 freeway West.
From Las Vegas:
Take the 15 freeway South to the 10 freeway West.
Public Transit:
From Los Angeles:
Take the Amtrak from Union station to Ontario Station.
Take the Line 61 Bus to Holt @ Lemon Wb.
Walk to Ontario Convention Center.
From San Diego:
Take The Amtrak from San Diego Station to Fullerton Amtrak Station.
Take the Line 286 bus to Brea Mall to Pomona.
Take the Line 61 Bus to Holt @ Lemon Wb.
Walk to Ontario Convention Center.
From Phoenix:
Take the Maricopa, AZ Amtrak to Ontario, CA.
